Health Benefits

Menorah Park offers a health insurance packages to all regular non-union employees, who are regularly scheduled to work at least 32 hours per week, and their eligible dependents.

Dental Insurance

Menorah Park offers a dental benefit to all regular non-union employees, who are regularly scheduled to work at least 32 hours per week, and their eligible dependents.

Insurance Buy-Out

Employees who elect not to receive the health insurance will be eligible to receive a $1000.00 per year pre-tax buy out paid in weekly installments in their paycheck.

Life Insurance

Menorah Park covers all regular non-union employees, who are regularly scheduled to work at least 32 hours per week, with a Life /Accidental Death or Dismemberment group policy at no cost to the employee.

Benefits Continuation (COBRA)

If you leave Menorah Park, or if your work hours are reduced, and such reduction in hours no longer makes you or any of your dependents entitled to participate in our group insurance options (e.g. health and dental insurance coverage plans), you and your eligible dependents may have the right to remain a member of these plans for up to eighteen months at your (or your dependent's) own expense. This period may be longer for certain disabled individuals.

401K Retirement Savings Program

All non-union employees are eligible to contribute towards Menorah Park's 401K Retirement Savings Program. The percentage that the employee contributes to the plan will be fully deductible from their taxable income.

Vacation

All non-union full-time non-supervisory employees are eligible for vacation in accordance with the following schedule:

Length of Service Days of Vacation
1 Year 10
5 Years 15
10 Years 20
20 Years 25

Personal Days

Each non-union full-time non-supervisory employee is eligible for a maximum of 3 personal days per anniversary year to conduct personal business. Personal days may not be carried over from anniversary year to anniversary year nor is payment in place of personal days ever allowed.

Holiday Time

All regular non-union full-time employees are eligible for the 8 fixed company paid holidays immediately upon hire. In addition, employees are also eligible for 2 floating holidays and their birthday off with pay, per anniversary year, after one year of continuous employment. Holiday time may not be carried over from anniversary year, nor is payment in place of a holiday ever allowed.

Open Interviews for Home Health Aides, Certified Nursing Aides and LPNs - April 22, 2008 from 1:00 - 2:30 in the Board Room.

Evening Receptionist:  Part time, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. M-F, no weekends

RN EVENING SUPERVISOR: Part time, job share, no weekends.  Applicants must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State.  Previous supervisory experience required.  Previous geriatric nursing preferred.

 

Physical Therapist:  Per Diem, experience preferred.  Must be licensed in New York State.

Certified Home Health Aides - Part Time experienced Certified Home Health Aides for Menorah Park Home Care.   Variable hours days/evenings/weekdays/weekends.  Must be NYS certified.
